Who Dominates the UK film industry
?
Useful information British vs American
?
British films attract audiences as they might be spinoffs to popular television shows such as the inbetweeners. For a film to be British it has to meet a few guidelines and so star wars is a British film and naturally is going to be the biggest film release ever due to its history. A film like harry potter already has a huge audience as the books were record breakers so the audience is already there.
British film are different from Hollywood blockbusters because they don't have huge budgets meaning there actors aren't A list nor are the locations and props.
Film buffs would rather see British films as they are the type of audience that appreciate films as an art form and would go to an independent cinema to watch films.
