The Man And Woman

My preconceived misconception of this man based on the image is that he doesn't have a lot of physical possessions in life due to the fact that he looks scruffy and looks like a vagrant. His unshaven beard gives the impression that he might not have access to sanitary facilities. His story is that he used to be a big city banker until he got a bit big headed and lost all his money in a trade. Now all he does is wander the streets all day looking for things to sell and eat. The background possibly New York or some other big city's have a lot of homeless people or they seem to be more common so the background is basically backing up my initial thought on the man based on the image. There is another gentleman behind him who also looks homeless so one might think that this is a popular spot for homeless people to gather. The fact that the man is stood still looking at peace with his surroundings like he belongs there also makes me think he could have been homeless for a relatively long time.

The man is in fact Doug Bihlmaier buyer for Ralph Lauren.

This woman is not homeless however she lives in a small rented accommodation in a bad part of town. She is a dinner lady that hates her job and she works for very little. She used to be married but her husband left her for a younger woman. After that happened she lost her mind and now collects porcelain cats. I think this because of what she is wearing and the old lay trolley she is pulling. The background looks a bit shabby this is why i think she might live in a slightly dodgy part of town. The stress that her divorce had on her is why she looks old and worn down, She might have turned to smoking and alcohol. The clothes she is wearing look creased and from the past so that makes me think that she bought them from a charity shop of has just never updated her wardrobe. perhaps still living in the past.

The woman is actress Julie Christie.

This man is a fashion designer who looks very european who became famous through his connections and he hasn't had to work hard for what he has. He designs women's clothing, he gets overpaid for what he does and therefor looks down on everyone else. I think this because of the way he is walking, his skin tone suggests he is European the clothes he is wearing are pretty pretentious and typical of people in the fashion industry. He looks slightly feminine, that also links to the fashion industry because i have a very narrow minded idea of the fashion industry based on people like Gok Wan. He stands out from the crowd clothing wise making me think that he has a link to fashion.
